I love NO.7 nail colors, just don't use the top coat, it makes the colors peel off! I have been buying NO7 nail colors for years & they are excellent value when you have a voucher! I have used lots of colors, Hot Pink, Salsa, Devils Delight, Vixen & lots more but I can't remember all the names! They all give even color & I go for up to 4 days without a single chip! The brush is nice size, which makes it easy to apply. It also dries in no time, which is great when you're in a hurry!

I purchased the sky blue polish and loved the colour. It really stood out and didn't need that many coats unlike other polishes I have used. However I did think it was quite expensive considering the quality wasn't great and after a couple of days it started coming off in flakes. It is therefore perfect for a night out or special occasion but if you are looking for something to last a bit longer it doesn't quite fit the bill.

After reading comments on the site I was unsure of buying the product. My sister has a range of the colours that are sold and her nails always look professional so I went and brought three - Vivid Violet, Stand Back and Me!Me!Me! I applied some false nails and I have used all three colours of different occasions. The application was easy and I applied two coats to get the desired look. I found that you have to wipe the tip on the top of the bottle to wipe of the excess off just like on any nail varnish. Then you get a nice even coat which isn't streaky or gloopy. It didn't chip until the fourth day of wearing it. I don't see a problem with the product except it is a bit pricey. I have used more expensive products which leave a less desired effect than this one.

I hate to be so negative about a product, but I am consistently disappointed with No7 products. I tried this polish in the shade 'so simple' when I had a voucher, so I bought it for £2. I can safely say that polishes for less than £2 are better quality than this. I tried this polish without a base or topcoat to see how it would do by itself, and it chipped in less than 24 hours. The application is gloopy and streaky, and was still streaky after 3 coats. The drying time was fine, but the brush makes it very difficult to get an even coat onto the nail- the polish drips from the stem on to the brush bristles. Do not waste your money on this product.

No way should £7 quid nail varnish have streaky application

I've purchased so many of these nail polishes as the colour range is impressive, they really are gorgeous however the polish is just not good. I struggle to ever get a smooth finish with these products. I always wear false nails and every other nail polish I use (even cheaper ones) cover and smooth perfectly. For some reason this brand constantly clumps, dries extremely slow and does not smooth out, even with a clear top coat.

Nothing special. Very generic colours (Mine's in Pink Grapefruit) that can be bought for a lot cheaper elsewhere. Not bad quality but again nothing to write home about. Pretty disappointing actually Boots!

I got a little pack of these for Christmas a few months back, and at first I really liked them. However the more I used them the more I found that the polish to ages to dry, was sticky for over 12 hours afterwards and chipped within a day of putting it on. Even with a top and bottom coat it started chipping very quickly. I noticed that the colours began to seperate after a few weeks, and you had to shake it to make sure the materials mixed. I also found that after a few uses the polish clogged onto the brush. Overall the colours were alright, though.

I have this in Vivid Violet, Sing the Blues and Practically Perfect. They are good for £2 with a voucher but I would never spend £7 on a nail varnish. I can't comment on the brush application as I make a mess no matter what, but after two layers the colours look good with no streaks.

I bought 2 bottles of this polish, both in blue and what I would term as 'flat' shades i.e. solid colour, and was extremely pleased with the quality and application. I then decided to get a purple shade. I couldn't find a 'flat' colour and chose one with a pearly hint. It wasn't the same quality and the application was terrible. With the 'flat' shades I only had to apply one coat but, with the pearly shade it took 2 or 3 coats, and it was a bit wattery.
