I bought this nail polish in betty blues, lovely colour but definately not 'stay perfect' only lasted one day and then when I took it off it had stained my nails blue, which doesn't come off!!! not impressed with this nail polish at all especially when its not exactly the cheapest nail polish out there!

I normally use OPI nail polish but because of the 3 for 2 offer, i decided to try this in Pillarbox (Bright red). Very good, chip free for up to 4 days, thick, vivid colours. Very similar if not the same to other high end professional polishes. I get more chips with Nails Inc which is 10.50 a pop, than this. Happy customer, would gladly purchase more...Wish they came in a wider colour range...

I own the polishes in Rose truffle and betty blues,my mum owns this in damson dream.Only just got betty blues so havn't tried it yet but it is pretty.Currently on my 2nd day of wearing rose truffle and it is still going strong,no chips at all. This is saying something considering my job involves getting trampolines out before i coach.Nothing chips nail polish like bashing your nails on metal etc.So this gets a good rating from me.Normally i'm finding chips straight after doing the equipment,no matter how expensive the nail polish. Now i think the price is expensive, but i got both of these using a no7 voucher both times so not going to complain paying 1.25 which is a bargain.Rose truffle is a nice solid colour in two coats and the polish dries quickly.A true winner. The brush makes application easy, although it is a little awkward on my little fingernail, but this polish comes easily off skin just by rubbing it with your finger.

I can only assume the product has been updated recently, as the product is working fine for me. (My bottle cap is also black, not silver as pictured, and the shade is Pink Grapefruit, also not showing on website.) I apply 2 coats over No 7 base coat and seal it with a top coat, and they were dry within 20 minutes. The brush is a little funny and I wish the bottle cap was round, to make it a little easier. The colour itself is very bright and vivid, just a little sheer so apply more than you would necessary.

The No. 7 range nail varnish is honestly the worst nail varnish I have evr used. Like the reviewer stated, the colours are very pretty and they are often on special - hence the reason why I purchased this range for the first time. However, I now wish I didn't I now have 3 bottles that I can't use. Why are they so bad: 1)No matter how hard you try the varnish will not go on evenly 2)Due to the shape of the bottle you have to fully load the brush each time you use it, you can't just get a little bit of nail varnish on the brush, conseaquently it gets very messy 3) What I find most annoying, is that the bail varnish takes forever to dry & even when you think it is dry i.e. about 12 hours later the varnish has not actually completely set, so you will get 'dents' and 'prints' in your varnish hours after applying it 4) It chips so easily - you'll be lucky to go over an hour witout some of it coming off. It's really bad quality. I'm very disappointed and I will in fact write to Boots to try and get my money back. Don't buy it. I've got nail varnish that I've bought for 99p that's better quality than this - it goes on much easier and it actually dries. I've only rated this 1 star because I had to, if there was an option to rate it Zero I would

Firstly, for any purple-holics out there still looking for purple polish with a genuine WOW factor, you can't go wrong with Vivid Violet. Forget Rimmel's Pompous; Vivid Violet blows it out of the water! I've owned several shades from the No7 range but they chip easily despite a relatively slow drying time - usually the reverse is the case: fast drying, easily chipped. The brush is a bit odd too; it fans out flat instead of curving, which makes painting near the cuticles a bit of a pain. But if you're after a great selection of shades then the premature chipping isn't a massive issue; just remember to use a topcoat. They're not the cheapest polishes but they're usually on an offer of some kind.

I had a 5 pound No 7 voucher so chose this in Salsa red which is a nice shade - any brighter would look tacky. It goes on well and drying time is normal. Will chip like any other but applying another coat on top looks fine. Probably wouldn't get it without the voucher but certainly not bad.

These are some of the nicest colours you can get on the high street. The only downside is they do get a bit thick half way down the bottle which makes application messy & they don't last as long as they might. A bit more expensive than many high street brans but often on special offer.

Colour is watery when it should be a strong red (Devils delight). Bleeds easily into cuticles. Chips easily despite No7 base and top coats and a good 2 hours waiting before getting dressed.
