I usually love no7 nail polish, but I was quite disappointed with this one. It applies beautifully and gives a gorgeous shimmery shine (I have the colour galaxy) however the colour began to chip one day after wear which I was disappointed with (it could jut be me not being very good with application.) However, I would recommend this product as the colour is very beautiful!

Gel shine? In my experience nothing is going to get a gel shine that isn't gel . . . however this isn't a bad attempt. It's a lovely polish to apply, the brush is nice and flat and gives an even, streak free coating. I applied two coats and it dried well. I was disappointed at how quickly the tips of my nails wore away but the rest of the colour lasted wel. It's very glossy looking but not so that someone would mistake it for gels. It's not the cheapest polish I've ever used but I would say its probably reasonable value.

I love this nail colour! I have it in Galaxy and it is truly stunning. I have previously used actual gel nails which I do love but I dont have the time to keep getting them done. This nail colour really does look and feel like gel nails! It is a lovely texture which lasts, it stays shiny and sparkly. Lasts really well without chipping and my nails are in great shape. Always get complimented on my nails when wearing this nail colour.

This definately has a gel-like shine once applied, good consistency & brush so doesnt make a mess of your hand! I applied 2 coats & it looked great for the 1st few hours but i washed my hair the next morning & a few nails had chipped which is a shame. Excellent for a party/night out but not for any longer

I have this in Deep Wine which is a really strong colour that rivals the more expensive nail polishes in terms of application and shine. The only disappointment is that it isn't long lasting and chips easily, very similar to previous No7 products that I've tried. Otherwise, great for a night out.

I got this nail polish in "Galaxy" which is a deep purple colour, with a subtle shimmer. I think the colour swatches must be a little bit mixed up as it shows galaxy as being a pale pinkish colour, which it isn't. The polish itself is quite thick, which made it a little messy to apply and was hard to get right in to the corners of nails without getting some on my skin, however i fixed this afterwards. Even though it is a little messy to apply, the results are definitely worth it. I applied two coats of this (also used base and top coat) and it has lasted pretty well. I have been wearing it for 5 days and it has started to chip a little around the edges, which is much better than other nail polishes i have used. Even when it does chip, it seems to chip away in tiny little flecks from the very edges, so it's not even that noticeable! The colour is outstanding. It is the most shiny and glossy colour i have ever seen. It has beautiful flecks of navy blue and purple shimmer in it too, but these are very subtle. I would say it's good value for money as it really does give you a professional, gel like finish. Overall, a really great product!

Great nail varnish, easy to apply and hasnt chipped after a few days

I've got this nail colour in Galaxy which is a gorgeous rich, sparkly, shiny purple colour. It goes on easily and is a good consistency. I applied 2 coats and it dried quickly. The only real drawback is that it chipped within 24 hours which was disappointing although my nails aren't in great condition just now so that may have contributed to the chipping.

Upon first application, this is lovely. It was easy to apply, high shine, covers ridges and does look like a gel. It lasted 2 days which is about what I would expect from a normal varnish, but I was expecting it to last a little longer. I would buy again as I liked the look of it when first applied, but probably just for use on nights out, etc.

This isn't something that I often say about a nail polish but the brush is awesome! Makes applying the polish a dream! I also found that the Polish was fantastically pigmented, was opaque in just one coat. How ever I would agree with the previous reviewer that although this polish has a beautiful shine it does chip very easily.
