I absolutely adored the shade of the nail polish I got (although on the bottle it says “Galaxy”, in real life it looks more like the “deep wine” shade)…it appears to be two-tone (purple from one angle and gold-wine from another) and it just looks perfect! I didn’t even have to apply two coats of it to get an even finish! However, because of its dark shade I have applied a clear undercoat (by another brand) to prevent my nails from staining and I found that the combination of the two of them meant that the polish started to chip and flake off incredibly quickly (I had 3 chipped nails before the first 24 hours were up!). I don’t know if that’s to do with the fact that the clear coat has made my nails tougher and less flexible and that’s why the polish chipped off quickly, or because this nail polish has glitter in it. (In my experience nail polishes that have glitter in them as a rule chip a lot quicker than even colour polishes). Or maybe it was the combination of the two, or the fact that the two different brands of nail polish didn’t “mesh” well. Still, while I had it on it looked perfect and I got lots of positive comments at work about the shade!

I love this nail polish and the colour is excellent. I have tried many dark nail varnishes and many chip it seems almost immediately. However this lasted without chipping for much longer. The shine was nice and did give a gel look. Price excellent for the product. Only needed 2 coats to get the correct coverage and colour.

I love the glossy look of this nail polish - I got this in galaxy which looks like a gorgeous purple however it comes on alot darker when applied even with one coat it looks almost black. One coat was enough and gave a rich glossy colour

Really disappointed in this product and definitely doesn't deliver as promised. The colour on my nails was nothing like the colour of the bottle. It took two coats to get an even finish and lasted less time than normal nail polish. Surprisingly though it was very easy to remove.

Really easy to apply this nail varnish gives good coverage. The colour was quite different on my nails than how it looks in the bottle so you should definitely check out the testers before purchase. This lasts well and took a couple of days top show signs of wear. It has a nice gel like appearance which is what I look for now in a varnish.

I have this in 'Galaxy' which is a dark purpley-red with a hint of glitter. I love the colour and it's easy to apply but the staying power isn't so good. I used this on my mum's fingernails and it chipped the next day. It didn't just slightly chip but whole chunks came off. I tried it on my toes and it's lasted longer. It's a shame because I really like it.

The No7 gel look shine nail colour delivers exactly what it says. I have it in Galaxy which is a beautiful metallic purple. Its shine is like that of a wet nail varnish before it has dried and I am like a magpie attracted to it. It does seem to appear less shiny after 3-4 days but the shine of a regular nail polish.

I love how easy this varnish is to apply, you don't need loads of coats and when dry it leaves a beautiful shiny gel like finish. I found it lasts well without chipping. The colour is nice, bright and bold. I had galaxy which was a little bluey than it looked in the pot but its still a lovely colour. It's not too expensive either so its a great little treat or if you just need something to finish your look

This is easily the best nail varnish I have used to date. It is easy to apply although it definitely needs 2 coats. The finish is amazingly shiny and glossy and it lasted well over a week without chips and without additional base coat or top coat. This is a first for me as I find other polishes I have tried have chipped within days. I am very impressed and looking forward to trying other colours in the range. I feel the price is reasonable and I would definitely try this again.

I loved the application and coverage of this but sadly the final dry finish was a totally different shade. I went for 'neptune' which dried almost navy blue. Odd.
