I recently tested the Gel Look Nail polish in the shade Galaxy. It is a purple base with blue glitter. The colour is darker than I would normally wear. The brush shape was a little weird as the brushes weren't flush with each other at the base. This making application difficult at the base of the nail.I would say this nail polish would need two thinner coats opposed to one thick coat. The reason being is one coat applied in this way looks thick and takes a while to dry.

I got this product in galaxy. Its a deep colour with sparkle and it looks amazing. The formula is thick enough for you to see the vibrance from the first coat.

I love how glossy the nails look when I use this and its pretty hard wearing too. Definitely a favourite of mine :)

I have the colour 'Pink Meringue' which is a sheer pink colour perfect for a French manicure. The first coat it just looked like a clear polish but the second coat gave it perfect shade and slight opacity for that natural but groomed look. The polish applies really easily, smoothly and evenly, and so long as you don't use too much it doesn't bubble. It's touch dry within a couple of minutes and completely dry within 10. It doesn't chip or peel although I can't say how long it lasts on the nails as I always change my colour up at least every 3 days anyway. While I do love the look this polish gives I wouldn't agree that it has a gel-like shine, though perhaps this would be more apparent on the more opaque colours. With this one I still like to use a shiny top coat to finish off my manicure. I do really like this polish but I think it's a little expensive for what it is so I'm not sure I'd actually buy it again.

I normally have gel nails done but it does get expensive and does damage your nails after a while. This is really nice to give them a few weeks rest but with a gel look! high shine thick finish all in one coat. I didn't personally find it coated my whole nail in one go but it doesn't streak and does leave a fantastic quick drying finish so more than happy.

I received this in Pink Meringue. I applied the nail colour, and I could hardly see any of the colour in this particular shade. It looked more like a very light gloss, and I could hardly see anything, maybe a different colour in this range, but not this one, unless you want a light gloss

Got this in Pink Merengue and it's great. Makes my nails look like they've had a professional manicure. Nice healthy pink nails, good shine, lasts well and with the colour being natural doesn't look totally messy when it does start wearing off. Great colour for work.

Having used the No7 stay perfect nail polish range before and liked them I was pleased to try the Gel Look range. I used the pink meringue colour, which was a very pale, transparent pink colour, almost clear in colour. The nail polish went on well and seemed to dry in OK time, no different to what I have experienced with other gel nail polishes. Once dried the colour is really shiny and glossy. I liked the polish itself but really disliked this colour, it did last about 5 days before showing wear and tear, but was very hard to notice as the colour was so transparent. I would try the more bolder colours in the range, however I do think think they are slightly more expensive than others considering they last about the same time.

I painted this on my natural nails and 4 days later no signs of any chipping, that's impressive. Really nice to apply as the brush is specially shaped so you almost cover the entire nail in one stroke. Really great shine, what a brilliant nail varnish. Recommended.

This product is lovely it dries quickly all the colors are brilliant i brought the light bluey green one it stayed on longer than i thought it would lovely long lasting shine. I would definitely recommend this product it look nice on short and long nails and a young glimmer towards it.
