Big fan of no.7 cosmetics but this was a let down. Don't usually buy waterpoof but I needed some on this occasion. Whilst it seems to 'hold up' to being waterproof I think the actually appearence it gives to your lashes is a let down.

This mascara is not waterproof. It washes off easily with just a damp cotton wool ball. How can it possibly be waterproof? Other brands of waterproof mascara I have had in the past have had real staying power (through tears, swimming, a 10 mile run) and have needed a proper waterproof mascara remover to shift them. Given that, as other reviewers have said, it requires about 3 coats of this product before you even look as if you're wearing mascara and that it disappears when it meets water, I think this product is a complete waste of money.

I'm really impressed with this mascara - i've bought it to wear while i am in labour as while everyone says it will be the last thing on my mind i am still planning on looking half decent! I don't usually wear waterproof mascara as I find they don't tend to match up to normal ones in terms of thickening and lengthening lashes, however this one does, I can truly say that my eyelashes look as good as they do with my usual mascara - good length, nice dark colour and thick looking. They also feel nice and soft and not spidery and scratchy as other waterproofs i have tried in the past have been like. I have got 01 Black.

I absolutely love this mascara. I've been using it for over 5 years and havent found another mascara which even comes close. It's absolutely fantastic for giving you long dark natural looking lashes and doesnt smudge at all. It's also very waterproof and lasts briliantly with swimming but doesnt make your eylashes feel hard and brittle and doesnt flake like some waterproof mascaras do. Although, if you are looking for a very dramatic evening look this probably isnt the best mascara for that.

Having always used No7 mascaras apart from the waterproof I was really disappointed when I used this in the swimming baths.I didnt even get my face wet apart from a few splashes but when I got out of the pool it had all flaked under my eyes and smudged so much that none remained on my lashes.

Ive lost count now of how many times I've repurchased this mascara. I wear the brown/black as I like the more natural look these days. Its feathers my lashes beautifully and is definitely waterproof- i have very watery eyes. I use a balm cleanser to take it off and never lost a lash in the process. I have very fair lashes and this coats them like no other. My og used to be a gold packaged luxury brand and it doesn't have a thing on this one.

Absolutely perfect if you have fairer hair lovely brush and made my natural eyelashes look much fuller and longer. Also passed a little cry test too!

This is one of my favourite mascaras! Really easy to wear and lasts ages. I have long eyelashes that stick out rather than stick up but they always look just right with this mascara!

I was looking for a mascara that would stay put for 12 hour+ nursing shifts. Most of the well-known waterproof mascaras I tried smudged within a few hours but this actually stayed in place and added a decent amount of volume without looking too much for work. On days off I layer it up for lots more volume. Definitely worth a try!
