Have just bought 2 of the new lip glosses as I have been using them since I got a free gift a couple of years ago - have to say, I really do not like the sponge applicator. I do not feel it goes on as well and have to slap more on to get any sort of coverage, I would prefer the brush and probably wont buy it again if there is still a sponge.

I wont recommend it to anyone, as the applicator is very poor, makes it hard to apply the gloss. The colour is next to nothing. and it certainly doesn't worth its price. Tastes very sweet. Personally I prefer tasteless and odourless make up. God point it has SPF in it, but overall there are better glosses on a market for the same money.

I have bought his product many times and they used to do it with a brush now only a sponge. The sponge applicator is very poor you hardly get any application and have to put lots on it. Please bring back the brush. I will not buy in future if it is a sponge applicator.

I chose Pink Veil as I wanted a pearly colour rather than a plain one and to use over ordinary lipstick. This is a very pale pink with a nice glisten to it (it's not glittery). It has a sponge applicator (never had one with the brush but find brushes tend to distort after a while). I don't know if it's just the tube I chose but withdrawing the applicator leaves only a little gloss on the pad so need a couple of applications. At least it might last longer than other brands I have where the whole wand gets smeared & messy with use & tends to get wasted! As others have mentioned it does have a rather strong sickly, sweet fruity taste which I am not keen on either. It's as average as other glosses I have (again other brands) & doesn't last that long. I wouldn't recommend to my friend unless she liked the fruity taste and I probably wouldn't buy another.

Went to my local Boots to buy a new one of these and was really pleased that the brush that was has now been replaced by a sponge applicator which is much easier to use. I've bought 3 of these now, always in Smile which is a lovely pinky/brown shade and perfect for me. I do agree with the other reviewer that it has got a sweet sickly smell and taste but I found this didn't last long. It also lasts surprisingly well too and I got it for free in the 3 for 2 promotion.

I went to Boots yesterday in order to replace the finished lipgloss I purchased 6 months ago called 'mallow' (which I have to say was the 3rd one I'd bought as i LOVED the product)The range has now been changed and replaced with an applicator sponge tip which is ok and when applied looks nice but has a revolting sweet sickly taste to it - can't use it now and in my eyes a waste of £8.50 because of disgusting sweet smell and taste - please bring back the old one and apologies for being so down on your product

I have got this in "Lust" a lovely red colour that looks classy and is suitable for daywear, and also makes my teeth look nice and white - the danger with a lot of bold reds is them making teeth look yellow. It gives a lovely gloss, however I do recommend making sure you wipe the applicator brush on the top of the tube a few times to avoid putting it on too thick otherwise it does look a bit "jammy" I find it is better to put it on thin and build up the layers as required.(And to do the old suck-on-your-finger trick to stop it coming off on your teeth) I must admit, this is the first lip gloss I have used with a brush and I find it a tiny bit hard to control, especially if trying to apply it in a hurry, and I do prefer a sponge type applicator but that is my only minor gripe and won't stop me buying this again. It is long lasting, non-drying and looks lovely. I use it with the No7 Lip Pencil in Nude to prevent the colour bleeding into the fine lines around my lips.

I got this lipgloss ages ago as part of a No7 deal. I absolutely loved it, the colour, texture and smell. So I was pleased when I saw Boots were still selling it. However when I arrived it has changed to a different colour! It's still not a bad product overall

I have had this product for a few months now and whenever I want to wear a lip gloss, this is the one which I always turn to first. Mine is in the shade smile and it is the most gorgeous light rosy pink colour with a slight tinge of mauve. It is nice and shiny/glossy but not that sticky at all. I have had one of these before in the same shade but with the brush applicator and I am a tiny bit disappointed that it has changed to a sponge applicator. Nevertheless the product inside is still the same! I would recommend this to everyone (especially the shade smile).

I actually got this free on a No7 offer (The lips kit!) It was a lovely surprise as I even got a colour that I actually would have bought had I gone out and bought this myself! ("Smile") It gives my lips a nice sheen and lasts a long time too. I agree with another reviewer who says wipe the sponge on the neck before application - it can get thick and jammy looking! The smell/taste is sweet (I cant compare to the old one never used it) but it doesnt last long. The freebie worked No7 I will buy this again! I am not one for lipsticks, I feel lip gloss and sheens are more "me" so its great to see so many and in different colours too!
