Not as purple as I would have liked. Has a grey tinge to it

Love my new metallic eye pencil,doesn't smudge and stays fresh all day.A great buy,sharpens easily and applies really well.

Sadly I would not buy this eyeliner again and have thrown it away before it is finished. The reason being, I found it quite hard to get a narrow tip on the crayon so the line was always too thick for what I wanted. The smudger doesn't really do anything. The colour is nice (blackest which is a dark grey metallic) but I just couldn't get on with the applicator. It was also took several days to get it fully removed despite a variety of cleansers.

This is a brilliant pencil, I absolutely love how when drawing onto my eye, it lines very smoothly & smudges for a lovely effect with the soft sponge which is on the other end of the pencil. I like it so much - I'm buying another. Thank you Boots No7

I've been using this particular eye liner for a while now and really like it as its not too harsh, and easy to apply. Impressive the camouflage colour to black as its not so harsh or ageing.

I have purchases this product many times . However when I received this one it looked like half of it had been used , maybe as a demo piece. It was almost flat and not much pencil left I it . Very disappointing. I would not order this in line again in case the same thing happens

Don't use eyeliner very often as usually hard to apply. Found this smoother to apply and the colour is great. Looks good when on and definitely makes a difference. Would recommend this product.

This is more than a pencil -it glides on so smoothly. I only use it on my upper eyelid. Sometimes I use the smudger, sometimes I don`t. Excellent product, I wish I`d found it sooner. It is easier to use than a conventional `pencil`.

I'm really surprised to see so many bad reviews. I have been using this product for quite some time now and have seen no change in it. It goes on easily, the smudger works perfectly and it stays put once on, although I've always put tiny bit of powder on top to set any eyeliner. Also, although it is called 'blackest', because of the slight sparkle it is much softer than straight black, and obviously the handy smudger means that you can soften it to your liking. As with any pencil eyeliner, make sure that it is not too cold when you try to apply it, and ensure there isn't other make up build up. The easiest way to do this is to tuck it in your bra when you start your make up! If you do apply over other make up and there is build up on the tip, give it a turn in a sharpener.

Doesn't blend as easily as it used to. The length of the pencil is misleading - the 'lead' so to speak, only goes half way down. The rest of the barrel is just a void so you will find when you get to the one third used point, what is left of the lead (product) will just continuously drop down. Result is that my eyes look okay (for a while!) but i... feel rather made a fool of in that I have twice now paid 'a certain price' for a long classy looking pencil (the sort you might consider paying 'an above average' price for) only to find it is designed to 'make the sale' rather than give the customer the suggested worth of 'actual' quality product.
