Great, glad I tried it, long lasting, makes a difference

This is a brilliant moisturizer, I absolutely love it. Firstly, I really like the pot, its simple, but classy, and modern, and easy to open. And then whats inside is just as awesome. I love the smell, and the product itself just melts into my skin, and leaves my skin feeling really soft. Has it improved fine lines/wrinkles? I'm not sure...I'm lucky enough to not have many, just a few fine lines appearing (Im almost 35) so its a bit early to tell, but my skin on a whole definitely looks and feels better. I'll definitely buy again.

I've been using this for about a month now and my skin feels amazing. No dry patches and smoother looking all over. I've even been wearing less make up as I feel so confident. It's lovely to apply: you only need a small amount and it rubs in beautifully; no greasiness or disappearing before you've had chance to get it all over. It even comes in a sensible pot so that you can get every last bit out, rather than those pumps where you feel loads is left it at the end! I can't fault it.

I like the Protect and Perfect Intense range for my somewhat dry/dehydrated skin, and I have previously been an avid user of the serum, and have also tried the pre-Advanced version of this day cream. The moisturiser comes in a quality-feeling glass pot with a plastic lid, presented in a box. It's untinted glass so it appears white, in contrast to the night cream, which has tinted glass and appears blue. This is helpful because it means you can distinguish between the day and night creams at a glance without having to read the packaging! The cream is quite thick in texture but sinks into the skin easily, leaving no greasy film. It works very well over the Protect and Perfect Intense Advanced serum, but I have run out of that and I'm using a cheaper hydrating serum, and it works well with that too. It also provides a good base for make-up: I have had no problems with 'bobbling' or 'pilling' or any other interactions when I layer products such as primer and foundation over it. One of the best aspects of the product is that it has not only SPF protection but also 5-star UVA protection, which guards against ageing caused by sun exposure. A lot of moisturisers only protect against UVB. However, it wouldn't be adequate for the summer sun, and certainly not sunbathing: I will get a specialised facial sunblock for that purpose. But I feel it is certainly adequate for winter/autumn months. I find it hard to tell if I have gained any anti-ageing benefits but I do feel that my skin feels very 'looked after' as a result of using this cream. It hydrates without blocking pores; I haven't experienced any spots or anything like that. It does feel slightly richer/more luxurious to me than the 'pre-Advanced' version.

No 7 skincare really is fantastic. I have been using this day cream in conjunction with the protect and perfect advance serum and the equivalent night cream. The cream is rich but melts straight into my skin so when I apply my make up, it doesn't slide off. My skin looks so much smoother and fresh since I started using this. I love it! This day cream has SPF 15 and when I had a picture taken by a UV skin testing machine at a large shopping mall, my face was completely protected.

I love this range from No7, I have used it for years. Makes my skin feel amazing!!!

After receiving a sample of this cream and testing it is the best I have tried. I have been using the P&P intense lotion since it was launched and that is brilliant. I have an oily skin, even though I am in my late 60s, and found the original P&P day cream too oily but the Intense Day cream is fantastic. It sinks into the skin and leaves no oily surface. Well done Boots, another winner.

I'm sorry to have to disagree with the other reviews - I bought this cream a couple of days ago and I was very excited by the addition of a 5* UVA rating to the standard SPF15. However, after the first use, I couldn't be more disappointed by this cream. The smell is strong and synthetic and the texture thick and greasy. When applied to my face sparingly, it left a horrible sticky film that persisted for most of the day. I'll be switching back to my usual high performance day cream - sorry Boots, this needs a lot of work on the formulation.
