I have watched friends and influencers use complexion sponges for years and never invested in one because frankly, who in their right mind pays nearly £20 for a sponge however this has changed the game for me. I got it as a free gift with purchase and I literally haven't used a single makeup face brush since, I even use this for blush and highlighter. The shape is great, its really bouncy, it doesn't absorb a load of product, it washes beautifully, I could go on. It will absorb a lot of water when you clean it (I just use shampoo) but it quickly dries down to a nice damp feel for makeup application. I see a few people who have commented on this before say it sheds but I haven't found this at all because I don't squeeze it too violently as I clean it after every use so its never really that dirty. Not only is this great for applying any weight of foundation but it makes concealer go on beautifully (even cheap cakes ones) and it applies powder flawlessly like it isn't even there and without destroying the glow of everything underneath. I've applied pigmented blushes with it and patted over my bronzer once its applied to make my cheek products really mesh into my foundation and skin and it makes them look perfectly natural. Honestly, I could write pages about this I can't believe how good it is and the price is incredible. Best beauty tool in my collection.

Haven't try the Original Beauty Blender, as it cost tol much to me £17! I got this No. 7 free from promotion, and i love it, compared with other brands like Real Technique, i think i got over 5 different brands and No. 7 is best so far. It is so soft, Bouncy, and work very well for wet applications. Haven't try with dry application yet.

I received one of these blending sponges as a free gift and then purchased another with a discount voucher. I am not sure if I would have purchased these at full-price, as I am a bit of a cheapskate when it comes to beauty application products. However, I have to say I'm impressed; applying my foundation and concealer with this does create a pretty flawless finish. I also love how soft and bouncy it feels on the skin when applying makeup.

I got this as part of a free gift when I bought two no7 items. I have never used a sponge before I usually use a brush or my fingers. This is absolutely amazing and I have now binned my brushes and would never go back. You do end up using a lot more foundation than you would using your fingers (I used to use one pump now i use 3) for each application but it is flawless and so worth it. I am now placing an order for some more to make sure I have a new one whenever I need to change it.

I got this as part of a free gift when I bought other products. I have never used a beauty blender before but watched a tutorial on you tube and gave it a go. First impressions are that it uses a lot more product than my fingers. After a few days I decided to wash it. Since then every time I use it it is disintegrating and leaving little black bits all over my foundation. Not a good look. Perhaps these are not supposed to be washed but I'm going back to applying foundation by hand.

Love this blender! I usually use the Real Techniques blender, but as I got this on in the advent calendar I thought I’d give it a go. Blends my make up perfectly and it is so much easier to clean than the Real Techniques one as it doesn’t absorb as much product. 10/10!

I ALWAYS use the Real Techniques sponge but when I got this I was so amazed at how it applies, the two ends are brilliant as I feel it was designed one side for foundation and a smaller side for concealer! For me there’s no going back as this is just brilliant, best makeup application I have ever had x

I usually use the Real Techniques sponge but had a No7 voucher so decided to try this one and I much prefer this. The flat edges make it easy to apply foundation but also under eye concealer. It works well dry but I do prefer to use it wet. I'm so glad I gave this a go 'cause it's now my favourite beauty tool!

This is a good makeup sponge for the price although I did find it soaked up a lot of product. With that being said, it did apply my foundation effortlessly and it did last well on the skin.
