I find this foundation light and easy to apply for day time use.

Excellent product

This is the third time I've bought this product as it is excellent. Gives good coverage without being heavy and is reasonably priced too which is an added bonus!

Brilliant

This foundation is perfect for my slightly pale and slightly oily face. It lets it breathe to and stay on all day i just add a bit of bronzing power on top and a bit of blusher Perfect.

Perfection in all ways!

Used Airbrush away primer first and followed with Warm Rose PP foundation - the result was superb! Applied both with foundation brush. Superb combo for a restored youthful look. The primer works superbly at hiding pores (nose in particular) and diminishes crows feet - the foundation evens all for a super natural fresh look! Well done No7 on a winning formula!

Protect and Perfect Bonus

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I was looking for a new liquid foundation for work wear as I've found the powder I previously used came off quickly and tended to cake around my eyes highlighting the lines there. When I went in to the store the No7 sales rep offered to do a colour match for me. I came up as Calico when I would have picked something a shade darker myself to add colour (I'm very pale) but purchased the calico shade in this foundation because of its added protect and perfect benefits. I also bought concealer in this shade. I maybe wouldn't describe it as creamy but it's not at all watery either. It has a nice texture that spreads well meaning you only have to use a small amount to obtain good coverage. I found it covers mild spots well but for severe acne a little red does show through. It does last me all day as well. I've been using this for about 8 - 10 months and feel it has made some difference to my (slight) lines as I've been using other items from the protect and perfect range. My skin feels smoother and not as clogged at the end of the day. My only grumble with this item would be due to the pump. On all three bottles I've used the pump stops working properly before a third of the bottle has been used. After you press down, it doesn't come back up so you've got to pull it which can be annoying if you're running late for work!!

Great foundation

This is a great foundation which I have used for a few years. There is a good choice of colours and it goes on well and you don't need to use a lot .

Not hydrating and colour doesn't stay in place

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I am a teen with very pale skin and few facial markings, so having stuggled since I started wearing a little make-up to find a foundation that not only kept my skin hydrated, but also kept me looking true-to-colour naturally, I was excited when I was recommended this foundation by an in-store No7 colleague. However, I have had around a six-month break from wearing foundation (preferring to use a BB cream for school/day-to-day wear), and only today revisited this foundation. And I realise why I stopped using this product! (Shade: ALABASTER) Firstly the actual application of this foundation is quite light and smooth and feels fairly natural when blending. But soon after finishing my make-up, I noticed that my skin looked dull and tired, and as the day wore on my face began to feel increasingly dry which in turn made me conscious of how my face appeared in daylight. I never re-aplicate make-up because I prefer to allow my skin to breath at least partly through products, but with this foundation I felt that the actual liquid itself on my skin was becoming more and more patchy throughout the day. Having pale young skin, I was also hoping that this foundation was going to keep me looking natural aswell as giving me a slight colour boost, but the colour after the day's wear had become, and unless my eyes are mistaken, much darker than it had been when I first applied it to my face! The price is reasonable, however, and good for those with Boots cards. Overall I wouldn't recommend this foundation, for neither normal/dry types or skin that is partial to needing long-lasting wear as I feel it did not deliver on the hydration or colour-stability it promises. However, I have been using No7's BB cream for normal/dry types in 'FAIR' and have no complaints about it, as it delivers moisture and long-lasting blendable coverage!!! :-)

Generally very happy with this foundation

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I was looking for a good, long lasting foundation to last me through my prom and, since i'd only ever previously bought fondations under £10, i thought an increase in budget would mean an increase in quality. Although not a huge leap, the few extra pounds does make a difference and is probably better value for money as you only need around a pea sized drop for smooth coverage. At first application, it's light and evens skin tone well without looking fake or chalky. I was also pleased with the spf 15 it supplies to keep skin sunsafe. My only minor problem is that, after a few hours, the coverage fades and the foundation gives my skin a slightly oily look. I have sensitive skin though so the oily effect might not appear for everyone

Not so perfect for me!

I wanted to love this product, I really did. However for skin like mine (I'm 19, the spots period is over, but I do have a little redness and scarring) this would have my face all shiny by midday. I loved the consistancy, a light, yet creamy liquid, just enough coverage when I didn't have any spots. I guess I just picked the wrong one at the time. I would suggest this to more mature skin like my mothers. This was perfect on hers, better than some of the more expensive brands!

Not So Great

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I splashed out on this, as I needed a new foundation and was impressed with Protect and Perfect enough in general, to try the rest of the range. Unfortunately, although I liked the foundation's consistency and coverage, the colour match was awful. I am quite pale, however chose the lightest possible shade available and I ended up looking like a conker! Despite trying to lighten it up with powder and blending it in, it still looked wrong, which was disappointing, as I couldn't have bought a lighter shade. As it's used, I can't exchange it, so am hoping it's of some use in the Summer when I'm more tanned.
