I have been using this serum to reduce my dark spots for the last 4 weeks. I bought it with such excitement as I do love my no7 products. Unfortunately it barely reduced the darkness of the spots on my face.

I applied the serum on my pigmentation spots day and night without fail and the tube is nearly fished and there is not even a hint of lightening of these dark spots. I actually feel quite ripped off by Boots as it does not do what is claims in any way. I think they should refund everyone who has paid good money for this product and go back to the laboratory on this one! I use the eye serum which does actually do what it says!

Like other users, I have found this to be extremely disappointing. Have used morning and night for over one month and absolute;ly no difference. Don't waste your money - it does not work!

I've been using this for 3 weeks with no visible change to my dark pigmentation spots. It's strange how, when I first looked at the reviews when considering buying this, they were all 5 stars - now most are one star and ladies saying it doesn't work at all. Are the original reviews false I wonder, to get us all to buy it?!? Boots should big up and respond to these terrible reviews as there are so many, and give us our money back!

Like many other reviewers I have been very disappointed with this product. I followed the instructions religiously but at the end of the tube saw no difference to my skin. After using No 7 creams for years I was shocked at how awful this one was. Back to the drawing board Boots!

Didn’t make a blind bit of difference and it’s too expensive to keep using it to see if it would work longer . I would expect to see some results after finishing the tube. It’s doesn't live up to Boots statements so think it’s wr9ng of boots to say it does!!!!

I used the so called new and improved brown spot corrector for nearly 3 weeks. I applied it twice a day as stated (some days 3 times) with absolutely no results. Before i brought the corrector, I spoke to a No7 consultant as I was hesitant to buy. This was based on the previous brown spot corrector Boots had a few years ago, again which I tried with no results. However, she persuaded my to buy due to the 6x lightning complex. I do not know how Boots can claim that this is scientifically proved..to me this is not credible as it just does not work - therefore a waste of money. Interestingly, I went back to Boots to complain and ask for a refund. Another No7 consultant stated I should be using the corrector for 12 weeks before I would see any difference. This is nonsense - where does it state this on the pruduct? It doesn't! It clearly states visible results in 2 weeks - so, if you do have to wait 12 weeks, why doesn't it state this on the product!? I managed to get a refund due to my persistence... I have read other reviews and I agree that Boots, if so convinced their products work, should offer a money back guarantee. If they did, i do wonder if they would make the same 'scientific' claims!

I bought this after seeing great reviews on here. When I first started using it, I had no issues with breakouts on my face so it was totally clear minus scarring. Unfortunately, I found that after 2 weeks my skin started breaking out and I now have a couple of cystic spots. I can't really speak to lightening claims as I discontinued use after breaking out but maybe it works better for those with skin that isn't naturally prone to acne as mine is? I have to say, the texture of the cream is really nice though, but I probably wouldn't recommend to those who have a lot of dark areas to correct as I found that the tube started to run out pretty quickly and it is quite small anyway. I'm a fan of No7 products, just not this one unfortunately.

I bought three for two unfortunately of this Dark Spot Correcting serum and have been using for nearly two months - no change whatsoever! Disappointed :-(

I bought this about 4 weeks ago as I have a dark spot on my jawline about the size of a 5p coin. Used as directed for three weeks solid without a break and had high hopes of it really lightening this very noticeable facial blemish. It was a total waste of money. I had taken before and after photos and there was no difference what so ever. Even small age spots on my hands were no different after using for that period of time. It also leaves a very sticky, shiny residue that lasts for sometime after application. Don't purchase this expensive product as it's a complete waste of money. No7 you need to look into consumer complaints about this product before more people waste their money.
