No7 Foundation Brush type 5971187 This is a small but thick synthetic brush that gives an even and flawless finish to your foundation base. I placed a few small drops of foundation onto the back of my hand and then dipped the brush into the foundation and stippled it into the skin on my face and neck. The head of the brush does seem small but I can honestly say it worked perfectly, providing a smooth and streak free application of foundation across my face, the brush allowed for a gradual build up of foundation application, something that I don't typically get when using my fingers to rub foundation in. The brush is small and not too long so fits well in my medium sized make up bag. The brush remained soft even with no bristle loss after using it 3 times without washing it, but I would advise washing the brush at least once a week due to the build up and dry bits of foundation that accumulate on the brush, it washed well in warm water and remained plump and kept its form. This is a good quality brush that allows for a smooth and streak free application of foundation, defiantly worth the money.

Definitely not the best flat foundation brush I've used, I don't really rate the quality of the bristles as they don't feel very soft, and for some reason I can't build up a decent coverage with this as I can with my buffing-type foundation brush; I might as well be using my fingers. Took a while to blend out the brush strokes as well, which I don't get with my flat-top or buffing-type brush. Maybe it was just down to the foundation, I don't know, Anyway, I suppose you could use this brush to actually deposit the foundation onto your skin and use a blending foundation brush or sponge to blend it in nicely? It's definitely useable for that purpose, but for actually blending and achieving a really flawless look on it's own...not so much.

i been using cheap foundation brush till i tried this. never knowing what was point of paying more then paying £5 , how naive was i. i notice how much nicer project was simply getting it out the packet. then using it for first time i notice it actual did job, no more lines, no more striike. the only thing i wished is that it had protection for the brush.my makeup is all in one bag and i nervous the brush may get damage .

Really good brush for applying foundation. The brush itself is very soft against the skin yet very firm for precision. Get the job done. Very handy brush. Good for sensitive skin.

I brought this brush and within a month of use all the glue holding it together fell apart, so now not useable.

I've had my brush for a long while now- clean it weekly/when needed and have not found it has shed any hairs at all yet Lovely and soft brush, applies my foundation evenly, sometimes leaves streaks, but easily remedied with fingers Haven't had any issues so far!

Bought this brush over the weekend. I've never owned a foundation brush but fancied giving it a go. Actually quite happy with it. Found it takes me a little longer to apply my foundation compared to blending with finger tips, as it first goes on a little streaky. However, once fully blended finished result looks really good.

I have never used a foundation brush and as this was my first brush after a lot of research, I did not want to spend a lot on the more expensive ones. But I like the way it feels on my face. It does a good job with a lovely finish. There are times when all brushes leave streaks but if you take the brush and dab it in the areas you want, the streaks will disappear.

I was looking for a new foundation brush - usually use a more expensive brand but needed something cheaper. This is equally as good even better and less than half the price ! I love No 7 and this doesn't dissappoint

Same as other reviews , I have tried 2 of these now and the bristles start to come out after a while !
