I thought I would spend a little more than I usually do on eyeshadow as I loved the pinky / purpley colours in the trio. What a mistake. I would ahve been better off getting 3 seperate tubs from a cheaper brand because these are terrible. The applicator is shaped like a crescent moon so you can barely use it, i threw it out after a few goes. The colour is so faint you have to apply it heaps to get any sort of effect and then it goes transluecent and wears off after a few hours. My eyeshadow alwyas stays put and this is the first one that I have actually have issues with. Save yourself 10 pounds and get something else.

Bought 3 of these on 3 for 2 promotion. Needed some new eyeshadow and have sensitive eyes. Used to use Clinique until was advised that no 7 is also very gentle on sensitive eyes. Whilst No 7 is a lot cheaper than Clinique I still consider full cost is on the pricey side whilst poss not as high quality as Clinique. Bought Good Earth, Cappuccino and Romantic. Good Earth and Cappuccino colours, although very nice, are far too similar (not good purchase to buy both) brown/neutral shades. Romantic is lovely purple shades. As others have commented, the applicator is not very useful - I use my fingers to apply!

I bought Twilight no. 60 (contains white, pale grey and dark grey) and have found I need to put on about 10 coats of the eyeshadow before I can see any colour. Even with that many layers it is still quite see through and also very powdery looking. The separate colours have all merged into each other so there is lack of definition.

I have this compact in good earth which is great for daytime wear. I do use a primer all over my eyelid before applying and then the shadow glides on easily. It doesn't crease even after 8 hours or more and stays silky looking. The applicator is no good (they never are in compacts) so buy yourself a decent eyeshadow brush. I am going to be buying another of these in a smoky colour for evening wear.

its ok but wears off quite quickly and all the colour blend into one over a short time of wearing and the brush isn't good as its bent which makes it hard to manoeuvre and hard to apply colour correctly

I have this in Eden - matches the colour of my eyes perfectly and went on well. It also stayed for hours. Would definetly buy again.

Great eyeshadows...i bought the good earth using my No7 voucher :-) Think i may venture out to Boots today and try another one so i have a great range of colours for all occasions.

i dont like the brush its too teeny, and it doesnt applicate well with fingers, i like the colour range but it doesnt last very long

I love No 7 usually but I wasn't that keen on this Trio Eyeshadow. I bought the Cappuccino shade and although the colours do work well together it takes me ages to get the depth of colour I want. Also it doesn't last very long before it starts fading and creasing.

I like Boots No7 products alot and they are great for my sensitive skin however I am a little disappointed with this product. The colour range is great, lots to choose from but I am underwhelmed by the eye shadow when applied. It takes alot for the colour to show up and the lasting power is not great. The applicator is useless and makes applying the shadow very difficult.
