I used the old design eye pencil with no problem at all....bought this new design eye pencil with horrible quality...such a waste of money... I will never ever buy this again or recommend to other people to buy it If the boost sale's team see this comment...or all the previous comment left by other customers, please fix the problem and don't sell rubbish customer!

I am so disappointed Boots have chnaged this eyeliner, which used to be my favourite after years of trying everything from collection 200 through to Dior this one was the best. My hoard recently ran out so i went to get another ans as it was 3 for 2 I checked with the assistant it was still the same which she assured me it was and it was just the packaging that had changed so i bought 3. You cant get any colour or black to transfer with continually dragging this over your eyes which is incredibly sore and inefficient leaving it unusable. I have now swapped to a barry m one which is half the price, but wish they still sold the old version. looking at the rest of the reviews its many people all having the same issue so come on no 7, sort it out, did you even test this before changing it??

After 7 years of the same liner I am looking elsewhere, sadly. It is hard to apply, which on a delicate undereye area is not good. It has nothing on their old liner...why change a winning formula??

I was totally happy with this product BEFORE it was changed. Now it is unusable! I am taking it back tomorrow for a refund!

Wish I had read the previous reviews before wasting my money. Only bought this as I had a voucher for money off. The pencil is so hard you drag the delicate eye area trying to apply it and then the application is very faint. Sorry but have been put off the quality of No7 for now. Definitely not recommended.

I bought this as I was looking for an eye pencil and have previously been using liquids. When tested on my wrist, it worked out fine. However, when used on my eyelid, the ink does not come off easily. I have to press it really hard against my eye which hurts

This is the first time that I have bought a no:7 eye pencil and I think it is amazing, it stays on allay and doesn't smudge, I had read other reviews saying it wasn't easy to sharpen however I haven't had any problems,I have the Boots pencil sharpener which cost £2 so worth a try.

The pencil itself is great but that’s really no use to anyone when it continuously breaks and is impossible to sharpen, even with a top brand sharpener. I probably got about a quarter of the pencil. I bought another in case it was a one off faulty pencil and I did like the pencil but the exact same happened again. I will not be buying another.

simply impossible to sharpen this pencil so is of no use quite quickly- not sure why this is so as i see others have this problem.

This is a very soft, gel-type eyeliner pencil, which is best used for a blended out, smoky look rather than a sharp wing. The point wears down very quickly, so is better to use on the lashline where it can be more messy. It's waterproof so doesn't smudge in the rain/tears etc., but smudges easily with any contact such as rubbing your eyes. Because of this it doesn't last all day and often needs reapplying. Despite this, this pencil is perfect for messier looks. It's also worth noting that this is a traditional pencil that needs sharpening.
