The quality of kohl is crumbly and leaves no colour on the eye. It also means the pencil is difficult to sharpen without breaking off. Only had for 4 weeks and I've lost half the pencil in the sharpening phase!! Won't buy this product again!

No7 what has happend to your once georgous eye pencil! I have been a devotee of this eye pencil since probably 2005! and i especially loved your brown colour as it was an unusual flattering smoky brown that i can not find anywhere else. I basically thought i must have brought a duff one a few months back but after reading another review with the same problem i now know not. It basically must have some sort of split going all the way through the pencil so when you sharpen it the sharp tip of the pencil crumbles away as soon as you try to apply it so you end uo having to keep sharpening it. This pencil used to last me about 6months, now because of the constant shrapening to no avail barley 2 months. Plus you really have to drag it on the skin to get any pencil action. It used to go on so smoothly with ease and was never too smugey soft or too hard and long wearing. It is a real shame for your pencil fans. Like another customer said if it ain't broke don't fix it. Hopefully this is something that you are aware of and aim to correct no7. Or else sales of eye pencil will go up elsewhere.

Love how this pencil glides on with ease stays in place all day

I bought this in "brown". The colour looks grey, not brown at all, so misleading! The pencil glides on well - would be a good product if colours were correct.

I was so excited to buy these as blue and purples make my eyes pop and I was so disappointed. The purple pencil was a dark brown and the blue pencil was literally black. It applies smoothly, however the colour was a complete scam.

I've bought this twice now and I will always repurchase. So easy to sweep over the eye for an everyday colour. Very easy to use and sharpen. I would highly recommend. Doesn't transfer and lasts all day.

Normally I don't use charcoal liner but I received this as part of the "Fresh n Fabulous" promotion and decided to give this a go, it is amazing quality and a little bit goes a long way. The colour is a very pigmented black and great for definition. It also is brilliant for those smoky eye looks.

I was a bit unsure about this product as some of the reviews aren't too good, however I am pleased to say that I love it. It's easy to use and stays on. I use the No7 sharpener to keep it pointy and it sharpens fine. It's lovely and soft and cheaper than the brand I previously used. I bought navy blue and have brown eyes. It looks lovely.

I have just started using it and it's wonderful. Stays on all day (even after a gym session at lunch time). No smudges and vivid colour. I haven't sharpended it yet but so far I love it! Absolutely nothing less than the big brands and much more affordable.

I wear black eyeliner every day so have tried quite a few of them! I usually swear by liquid so I was interested to see if this pencil would convert me, it didn't. Although its a soft liner which applies easily, and did last most of the day (although it did fade in the corners of my eyes) I didn't think it was any better than other brands which are as much as half the price of this.
