Asked to review this product for boots. Sent the black pencil although my colouring us a very dark brown. Black still looks good but quite a blue shade of black so would recommend sticking with dark brown if you don't usually wear black. Long lasting and smudge free.

I have tried numerous eye pencils and found i always have to reapply midday, i wear contacs and my eyes water alot making eye pencil usually dissapear during the morning. This pencil stays on until i remove it in the evening. Brilliant product.

The product is very easy to apply, and it stayed on perfectly, even in the hotter weather conditions. It has a lovely point to it, with no smudging and quick to dry. Its great that it comes in so many colours, would love to try some others!

I've used a lot of eye liners and this one is one of the easiest I've used. Love it!

I really liked this product, it is really creamy so glides onto the waterline easily and does not move. I did find that after a few hours wear the colour starts to move towards the inner tear duct. I like the style of the pencil as it is easy to sharpen . Overall it is a great pencil.

Super long lasting with a lovely strong jet black colour. Unlike most other eyeliner pencils, the No7 pencil leaves a perfect line with no transfer or smudges throughout the day. Perfect for creating a light day look or layered for a more sharp dark evening look.

I was so excited when No7 launched this waterproof eyeliner. I have tried many pencil liners in my time and this has by far been the best waterproof one. I usually set this with eyeshadow but when I don't use eyeshadow it does tend to smudge a little bit throughout the day - the only downside I would say. The pigmentation is brilliant and it is a smooth formula so doesn't tug on the delicate eye area.

I have only tried the new formulations and only in black. The pencil goes on well, smoothly and without dragging. It is possibly to get a reasonably smooth line but not the definition that you will get with a liquid or gel. The smudging end is a good size and texture, allowing a small smudging effect without erasing any of the liner. The liner lasts the day well and even looks slightly better as it softens. It is easy to 'top-up' if you want a heavier line in the evening and it is not too hard to remove for any correction.

I agree with the other reviews. This used to be a great product and good value for money. It is now almost impossible to get it to leave any line or colour under my eyes. I can draw a thick line on my hand but it just won't work. I have used a pencil sharpener to remove the point and start a new one but this has not improved the situation.

Always used to buy this eyeliner years ago and decided to try it again. It's awful, and doesn't actually work, which seems ridiculous but is true! If you draw it (pushing quite hard) on the back of your hand, it's ok, but around your eyes, it does nothing; there is literally no colour there! Very strange - won't be buying again and will return to store.
