I have very blemished skin and while i imagine this wouldn't give very good coverage on it's own, i use it over a thick mouse foundation to give a matte appearance which it is brilliant for. The colour is also very good.

I love this powder and have used it for years. But, I have for a while now been concerned each time I throw the compact away; I hate throwing away a perfectly usable plastic and mirror case. Plus I never use the sponge, always preferring to apply it with a brush, so the sponge goes unused also. I am now researching other brands to find a suitable alternative with a refill system. Come on Boots, get your eco shoes (boots?) on and design a refill option!!

I have combination skin, however I found this powder really stuck to the dry patches of my face and looked flakey and caked on. I would avoid if your skin is in any way dry!

I've been using this pressed powder for years. It matches my skin tone, giving an even finish, it's easy to apply and touch up. Simply put on a little concealer here and there first if necessary, then apply the powder to get a good natural look.

I have been using No. 7 products for over 40 years now and I have always been very pleased with this range of makeup. Coverage is always very good when applying the foundation and the pressed powder over the foundation just gives my face that finishing touch! Thank you Boots!

I love this powder, It feels soft and silky on the skin. I use the translucent shade, it gives a tiny bit of coverage in a pinch. I mainly use this to set my foundation in the morning and then top ups during the day. It really does give your skin a lovely finish and it's very hard to over do it with this powder. The packaging is sturdy and practical and the powder inside has never broken on me, even when I only have a tiny ring of powder left around the edges.

When I first used this product I found it really good, it felt lovely and light on the skin but I have oily/dry/blemish prone skin and after using it for a few weeks my cheeks, chin and forehead looked very flakey and dry and the product stuck to them certain areas after applying it! the product is good, and very easy to apply but just was not for me as of my combination skin.

I have used my compact off some time no and am very pleased with it. It is a pity though that I can 't buy a refill to fit it.
