I switched to Boots No7 after using another brand for a long time, as I discovered Boots is cruelty-free, never tested on animals, and most are vegan, whereas the other brand supported testing in China. I purchased this product in shade translucent. I feel that it isn't quite translucent, it makes my skin a bit darker than I'd like. However, it applies very well, with a powder brush or pad, and lasts on the skin well. I do find that the compacts run out quite fast though, and once they get the standard hole in the middle, the edges crumble and break up, so you lose some of the product. I also purchased translucent in the airbrush finishing powder. Although they look the same in the packaging, the airbrush one applies much more white. Overall, I like both products, and will continue to buy them. I probably prefer this one slightly over the airbrushed, as it has a bit better coverage.

I love this powder it’s the perfect shade and provides good coverage . I apply it with a powder brush rather than the pad applicator provided.

I bought this powder recently as the one I used to use from another brand was discontinued. It is much cheaper and does a really good job. I don’t wear liquid foundation and use this instead. It’s great for getting rid of shine. I use it with the N07 powder brush and it’s brilliant.

I have used this powder for the last 12months. It produces a perfect fine, flawless matt finish without looking 'heavy'. It lasts all day and gives me great confidence in public situations. I have sensitive skin and this powder causes me NO problems whatsoever.

I have been using this product for as long as I can remember and I am very pleased with it. However, it is certainly not sustainable to keep throwing away plastic compacts and I am very surprised that No. 7 do not offer refills. Surely this must be easily achievable? I shall have to switch to a more environmentally provider soon if Boots do not decide to move in the right direction. A competitor offers a recycling service for all plastic and this is a real draw for me.

I've been using this pressed powder for years. It matches my skin tone, giving an even finish, it's easy to apply and touch up. Simply put on a little concealer here and there first if necessary, then apply the powder to get a good natural look.

I've used this powder for years. Every now and then I try a different, and usually much more expensive brand, usually because I'm ever hopeful of something giving me perfect skin (mine is quite course) it never does and I always come back to this. It's the best finishing/setting powder I've ever used. Better than Dior, Bare Minerals, Benefit and many more.
