This powder is great, I use it over my foundation, under my bronzer and blusher, and it really sets my makeup for the day. I use the med-dark self tan and the mousse foundation, and I use this product in the dark. It reduces shine and leaves my skin looking flawless. I dip a powder brush in and buff it over my t-zone, cheekbones and chin. A little goes a long way and one dip is enough to cover my face. I prefer the pressed powder to hte loose powder as I find it easier to control how much I put on the brush and there's no chance of me spilling it everywhere and losing the majority of it. Really lovely product I recommend for all skint types.

I've never tried no7 powder before and I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It sets my foundation really well and gives a matte finish to my oil prone skin. Be careful when choosing your colour though - despite my being quite pale, the consultant chose 'medium' and after trying it I certainly wouldn't want it any lighter than that. Also keep away from the eye area as it can show up wrinkles on the delicate skin there.

I love this perfect light pressed powder in medium colour, it goes lovely over foundation and leaves a lovely natural finish.

I will have to agree with feline and Ruby12. I am not impressed at all with the 'new improved formula'. The colour is completely different (I use medium and it is now much lighter colour) and the texture is very powdery and makes my skin feel dry. I have been using this powder for several years and I am really disappointed that Boots has changed it. Please bring back the old version!

I have been using this powder for a couple of years in the shade Medium and always found it brilliant for coverage and shade. I bought it last week & it said new formula on it. I am so disappointed, wish they would not change something that works so well. The shade is alot lighter than the other one & the powder is alot more powdery and leaves a residue on your skin, it doesn't cover up anywhere near as good as it used to. Im afraid next time i will be looking for a new powder!!

I have used the No7 face powder for years and recently bought my usual Translucent shade and it was like putting white chalk on my face. I wasted more money buying the next shade up and it was too dark and cloggy and my make up looked dull. Why did they change it? I shall not buy No7 again.

Was recommended to me by a very helpful consultant.It is perfect for my skin type and it's lightweight so it suits me as I'm only a "part-time" make up wearer.
