What have you done with the foundation I have used for years!! 1) it seems more watery 2) who on earth decided the spatula would be a good idea. Needs sacking 3) the colour that I have used for years is more orange. 4) doesn’t stay on the whole day. I’ll be honest I am looking for a new foundation which is disappointing but unless the pump is brought back I will be using something else.

Having used this product for many years, I am extremely disappointed with the new formula. The product is now watery with no body to it and also makes my skin go white during sports activities or if you get water on your face. A huge difference to the original creamy formula which gave me a lovely glow and good coverage. I have also had to change the colour I was using as the new(supposedly same colour), was nothing like the original. I am so disappointed with this product and am currently looking to purchase a different brand altogether. Judging by the number of poor reviews No 7 has had I imagine they will be losing many long serving customers.

I have been without my No7 Beautifully Matte foundation since May now and keep being promised the original is returning. Hopefully this is correct and not delayed any further. The new formulation is terrible, so hard to apply and orange.

Sadly agree with all the negative reviews. Have also used the original formula for years and this is nothing like it whatsoever. Does not stay matte, very orange tones, a waste of money. I still have a small amount of the original for comparison, so I can see it is clearly a completely different blend and new bottle is totally unhygienic as the wand obviously keeps going in and out of the bottle rather than the perfect old pump dispenser. So very disappointing. Please bring back the original, exactly how it used to be!

I never leave reviews but this one is a must!! No.7 please please bring back the Beautifully Matte All Day Velvet spf 15 foundation with black pump lid. The new Beautifully Matte spf 25 with white lid and spatula is awful. It is watery, streaky, slimy, patchy, poor coverage and orange (I’ve been colour matched and no way does my Cool Vanilla shade suit me any longer.) The old Matte product went on like a dream. Amazing coverage, silky, great to apply, absorbed oils without any drying feeling on my skin. Cannot tell you how disappointed I am ! PLEASE bring back the spf15 black pump version as nothing comes close!

I’ve used no7 matte foundation for years and always loved it. The new formula is runny, greasy and doesn’t set nice on your skin. I am extremely disappointed and I’m now looking for a new foundation.

This new formula is just awful. So much thinner than the previous one which I have used for many, many years. The new bottle is terrible as so much product is wasted, and the plastic applicator is just odd. Why not a sponge tipped one at least? The colour is also different to the previous formula leaving me with little choice but to look elsewhere, as the current range has nothing even slightly similar to the thicker, silky consistancy of the much loved old beautifully matte. A huge loss.

The new bottle with a spatula is awful. You cant reach half of the product and the foundation is now runnier so you can get it out of the bottle. One of the best things about this foundation was the thicker texture. It felt luxurious and it was really easy to apply. Now its trickier and not convenient. The colour seems to have changed too. I use deeply beige and its really orange? The bottle is glass rather than plastic so its not convenient for a busy on the go lifestyle. You could throw it in your bag and not worry. After years of using this product, ill be no longer using it.

The new beautifully Matt Foundation is sadly rubbish: 1 2ml less 2 Colour completely different Deeply Beige is now Orange and texture is runny 3 Spatula is messy and and will never reach everything in bottom of bottle 4 Coverage is not at all like the old one was A very sad thing for No7 to do and it will lose Boots so much money and once loyal customers are lost they won't come back. as they will find what they need somewhere else
