Boots.com review For years I've been very happy with the boots no 7 stay perfect mascara, but wanted to give this one a go after the lady at the Boots shop recommended it to me, after I specified I wanted a smudge and flake proof mascara. After application I thought my lashes looked good, I liked the consistency and the brush, but I've never even heard of a mascara that smudges anywhere near as much as this one. I notice that the Boots bot has a standardised patronising respond to all poor reviews commenting on the smudging, explaining the importance of oil free lashes before application, and thereby basically putting the blame back at "incompetent customers", and completely missing the point that we've all got experience with applying other types of mascara without any problem, and that it's this particular product that's useless.

Boots.com review I bought this mascara last week as it said smudge proof. I think it goes on great but after only an hr or so it has smudged above and below my eyes. I have never had this problem with a mascara unless l've been crying! Very dissapointed with the product. Is it worth returning to Boots?

Boots.com review Horrendous- I’m appalled no 7 would sell such a bad product states it’s smudge free well it’s not it’s a lie put it on the tube got to work and looked like I’d been punched in the face it’s everywhere I think this should be recalled it’s that bad !!

Boots.com review I bought this mascara 3 weeks ago. I can safely say that it’s one of the worse mascaras I have ever used. Smudged within an hour and left huge panda eyes by lunchtime. Have thrown away. Sorry no 7.

Boots.com review I am surprised at how bad this mascara is, it had smudged under and above my eyes after 1-2 hours. Sadly it is unusable. Did no one test it before it was released? I recommend Boots to pull it back before more people are tricked into spending money for something that is not fit for purpose.

Boots.com review This mascara was awful. It stated that it lifted and curled my eyelashes. It did neither! It also claimed to be suitable for sensitive eyes! Immediately my eyes became very irritated and watered excessively. The mascara, which was also stated to be long lasting, then smudged under my eyes and went into my eyes making them increasingly irritated. I had to take it off quickly and my eyes are still painful 24 hours later. As a regular Boots customer I really object to being sold an item that is completely the opposite to its description. An absolute waste of money!

Boots.com review I never leave reviews for products but feel obliged to warn people against this terrible waste of money. Panda eyes!!! Within one hour of applying the mascara the black shadows under my eyes were completely embarrassing. I made the mistake of buying two due to an offer and have now thrown both away. Total waste of money.
