It does take a bit of time to dry so watch out when applying as it will smudge; when dry it stays put, so if you have smudged it on application, beware! It doesn't run either which I love, but because I don't wear mascara regularly I now find it's started to clump horribly and is really difficult to apply so I have to chuck it, even though it's half-full. Shelf life issues?

It is thick and clumpy. It is also really hard to remove with eye make up remover. I am very disappointed with my purchase. I have only applied it twice.
