I love love love this primer! I usually keep it for when i'm going out or have the time to perfect my makeup as it is pricey for everyday use! This makes my makeup so flawless! I have used other high end brands for primer and this beats it hands down!

I bought this when it was on offer before Christmas. I have quite large pores and suffer with redness. It went on very smoothly and my foundation (No.7 Superlight) looked a lot better with this underneath. I also noticed it really improved the staying power of my foundation.

I've tried several primers- Benefit Porefessional, Maybelline baby skin, Smashbox photo finish & Estee Lauder the illuminator, to name a few. None of them compare to this! I have very dry sensitive skin, so I'm very pleased to have finally found a primer that ticks all the boxes. Not only does it provide a good base, but it also helps my make up stay in place for longer. I will say, it leaves quite a radiant finish, so if matte is what you're looking for, this maybe isn't for you.

I believe I actually bought this primer by accident! Not reading it say "magic away visible signs of ageing" and possibly wasn't for my age range but it was a great mistake because it's the best primer I've used so far, thick and definitely notice a different appearance than foundation on its own.

The primer has a great effect on my skin as soon as I apply it, the pores definitely appear reduced and if I were going foundation free for a day, this would definitely make me feel more confident. However, as a primer being used under make up, it has no effect, for me anyway. Whether I use this or no primer at all, my foundation looks the same and stays for the same period of time. This doesn't make my complexion brighter, or my make up stay longer, so this is why I cannot give it 5 stars. As a stand alone product, when applied to my skin my pores are visibly reduced, it is very smooth and a very good quality, however as a primer designed to make my foundation last longer and appear better, it jsut doesnt do it. Also, paying nearly £20 for a primer is really quite a risk, and unfortunately, for me, it didn't pay off. If i'd have known I was paying £20 just for a product to reduce the look of my pores for when i'm not wearing make up, I wouldn't have purchased.

This Instant Illusions feels nice and smells nice but that's the end of the line. I've been wearing it over moisturiser and under Dermalogica foundation for the last few weeks in the vague hope that it (or I) might have a Eureka moment Sadly, on my skin it makes absolutely no difference to the quality of my lovely wrinkles. Twenty pounds down the drain but then I shouldn't really have fallen for the advertising blurb, should I!
