I bought the rich red colour Salsa for the festive period and am extremely pleased with the quality of this product. Where high-end brands chip off easily after household chores this colour stayed on my nails. I also bought the base coat. Two coats of the pigment colour give the perfect result, looking very professional. The varnish is also easy to remove and does not dry out my nails, something I often experience with much more expensive brands.

Bought "Cheeky Chops" a couple of days ago as I loved the colour. After prepping my nails with basecoat, I put one coat on. The varnish felt/looked very runny when I opened the bottle. However, on application it was very streaky and thick/uneven - like I'd put a second coat on when the first hadn't dried properly (left plenty of time between base coat and nailvarnish). Took it off and have just tried to apply it again this morning and whilst it isn't thick, it is still very very streaky. Wont be buying this again, and am pleased I didn't pay full price for it (used voucher for £3 off).

I hadn't tried Boots own nailpolishes before but loved some of the bright new colours so treated myself to the Totally Teal and Salsa shades. The Teal is OK, but the Salsa (a deep pearly red) is totally terrible! Have applied 3 coats over a quality base coat, allowing a couple of hours between each and it still looks streaky and blotchy. It's supposed to be quick drying too, but it really isn't compared to other brands I have tried. If you have to go over a completed stroke, which you do to get full coverage, the brush seems to drag on the polish underneath, lifting it away and creating a furrow right down to the bare nail. When you try to fill that in, you get more drag in other places, so you have to either put on a really thick coat, or keep trying to fill in the bare bits and either way, you get a very lumpy finish. The brush is too thick and it's really hard to get right up to the nail edge without covering your fingers too. The Teal colour, which is not pearlised, did perform better in terms of application, but the polish is very thin and it does need 3 coats to get a good, even colour, so not quick to apply. With a base and top coat, the Teal lasted approx 3 days before chipping; not a great performance but OK for a big night out or a weekend away. I wouldn't buy it again though. I have long natural nails, so don't know if it would be any better on false nails.

I bough quite a few of these a while back and I find they’re poor quality. They separate really easily and become clumpy. An issue I’ve not had with other brands. They also chip quickly

These were gifted to me and I was sceptical about the polish's longevity because it isn't a high end brand. But the colour has a long lasting shine and doesn't discolour over time. I read in the reviews that people found it did not last a long time, but paired with a good base coat and top coat, these polishes will stay on for two weeks!

Range of colours is great for season but brush is weird shape, makes it hard to apply neatly. Have bought several colours all chip within a day even with base coat.

Unfortunatly, this product has really dissapointed me. There are a nice range of colours and I couldn't help but buy one (a purple shade) as I had a £5 off No7 voucher. I do like the colours but they definatly need two coats. The brush is nice and wide which makes for a super easy application. The main reasons I do not like this product are: It chips WAY too easily. I will find chips on my nails the same day I painted them! - NOT GOOD. It takes quite a while to dry, which is a real time consuming pain considering you need two coats. They go very gloopy, very quickly....and once they're gloopy there isn't even any point in trying to apply it...It will make the most messy mess of your nails ever. In my opinion, this nail varnish is not worth the money as you can find much better products for half the price of one of these.

Colour is watery when it should be a strong red (Devils delight). Bleeds easily into cuticles. Chips easily despite No7 base and top coats and a good 2 hours waiting before getting dressed.

I love this colour brilliant shine and sparkle , very elegant and girly and very resistant from chipping :)

I love No7 face care ranges and they have never let me down. The nail varnishes however are a complete disappointment. I got 3 colours in the 3 for 2 offer and the colours are great in the bottle but the application is streaky and even after two careful layers the final look is messy. I won't use them again.
