I've been using the Protect & Perfect Serum in it's various guises since its inception and I'm a massive fan. It works. Plain and simple. On the few occasions that I've dabbled with other serums, I've always regretted it before returning to the No7 fold. This latest incarnation is lighter than the other versions and glides on smoothly every morning and evening with spectacular results. It's an absolute joy to apply and feels wonderfully smooth as it's absorbed quickly into the skin. If, like me, you're currently sporting some facial hair (come on... who isn't?), then this latest version of the Protect & Perfect Serum sinks straight through stubble and even more hirsute facial topiary getting right down to your skin. The results are terrific with lines almost disappearing and wrinkles around your eyes fading. The real test, of course, is your partner, friends and family and they've all made complimentary comments about how great I look recently. Especially my wife. In my experience, sticking with the Protect & Perfect Serum means you can change your moisturiser to suit your needs over the year, confident that its working hard underneath to help make you look your best. within 3 days I saw a significant improvement in my skin tone and the lines did seem to fade! Not much of the product is required on a daily basis meaning that you dont have to keep buying it every few weeks, the price is great for what it is compared to some of the named equivalents around. As soon as its on yours skin it gives you a great smooth and tighter face, giving you confidence for the day ahead! I'll be using it for years to come!

I've used it for a few months now, it certainly seems to work and goes on easily enough. I've learnt that you don't need to use a full pump load in one go. Wish they'd do a tube instead, I'd be convinced I'd used all 18.50 when the pump stops working then!

i have very dry skin and have tried nivea,loreal etc.Decided to try this and have to say it's brilliant,feels like silk on your face,makes your skin feel and smell great,i use this after using the face scrub and then use the moisturiser to finish.

Although pricey, the serum went on well and was absorbed quickly. It was a good base coat for the anti ageing balm and anti shine lotion.

This is a good product and I would have given it 4 stars s but for ONE thing! The bottle only lasts for three weeks if you are lucky! One pump twice a day as is instructed by Boots and you'll find the bottle emptying very quickly! It's an expensive product and I feel Boots should at least sell a product that lasts for one month! Recommend the product... Yes Is it value for money? ... NO

I was interested to review this product, as I have never used a serum before. I did have primary concerns, as I have complex skin, and I wondered whether the high moisture silky texture of this would cause breakouts or oily skin. I couldn't have been more wrong. This product if anything, has removed the oily aspect from my skin completely, and has certainly not caused spots or grease. On the drier area of my skin, this has certainly helped improve my overall skin tone as well as making me feel moisturised throughout the day. In regards to the anti-wrinkle claims of this product, I feel that I have noticed an improvement in the fine lines around my eyes, and has definitely left me looking and feeling refreshed and somewhat more toned. I found that this works best for me in conjunction with my regular moisturiser (currently Biotherm energise). If used underneath the moisturiser, it seems to help with absorption, and makes the hydrated feeling last for longer. No anti-aging product is cheap, but I think this product more than justifies the price range. Highly Recommended.

I tried this for about a couple of weeks, but didn't see much change in my skin. The pump itself is easy to use and gives the right amount of cream needed to apply to the face and neck. I found that I did feel something when ?I first applied it but it also made my skin a little dry so I definitely had to use a moisturiser on top. I don't have any wrinkles anyway so this could be why I didn't see much of a difference. A bit to expensive for me to use as a preventative measure which isn't showing me any visible results

I have previously used the standard protect and perfect serum with very good results. This advanced serum provides as equally good results, but I couldn't say they were any better. I use it only once a day after washing the face. You must apply moisturiser tiki the face about 30 minutes after applying the serum otherwise the skin can become very dry. The key to this serum is not expecting results after just one week, you need to apply for a few months to see any results.

I had my doubts whether serums actually work or not, but it appears this one does, after few days use skin looked brighter, only downside is the cost. it's another product to buy along side a moisturiser so could get expensive.
