I bought this as a 50th birthday gift for my hubby as I use all the No.7 products and they work really well. He's now used it for a few weeks and you can already see the difference. It's not greasy or messy and when used with the moisturiser it works well. My hubby's face is noticeably smoother :) I will definitely buy more and highly recommend this product.

I bought this as part of a ‘bundle’ of four products which was a big saving. I’m wary of claims like ‘anti-ageing’ - I’m 61 and proud of it ! - but my skin can be very dry AND is very sensitive so checked the products out and when I saw the bundle price, went for it. I’m very pleased so far - all the products in the range feel great and no itching or redness which is unusual for me - especially my eyes which usually turn ‘Dracula’ merely at the proximity of a jar of cream. This serum is a really great start to the process - as a base for the moisturisers and eye cream - feels very smooth and easily absorbed. But I echo other reviewers - you need a TINY amount for coverage so just a small amount on a fingertip is ample - I recommend ignoring the instructions to put a blob on the palm and rub your hands together THEN apply to face ..... unless you want expensively soft palms. So use very little and it will last. Good buy.

The serum is a nice consistency and goes on easily...however I found this serum would be used very quickly compared to competitors, for example - using as recommended I have used 2 pots in about 4 weeks. More importantly...having used it for this time my skin is in worse condition than competitors...so due to this I am not sure I can recommend it.

This is a product that had a huge surprise for me, this product is very quickly absorbed but leaves a fine layer almost on the skin that helps your skin feel smooth and supple. The biggest surprise for me with this product is that it was perfect for controlling my oily skin post wash. This product completely stopped my over-active sebaceous gland from turning my face shiny for the whole day and did not make my face feel closed/suffocated in any way. The key was application immediately after washing and this does everything it advertises.

We were actually really surprised about how quick this item actually started to show a change I would def recommend it!! My husbands skin was firmer and helped his wrinkles and made him look little younger :)

Being honest, the serum does work well in making skin look smooth and I would recommend it. However there are 2 down sides, there is no SPF within the serum so you wont have sun protection, so I would suggest using this serum only at night, although it may take longer to see results. The only other drawback is the price... 19pound for 30ml doesnt last that long, especially if you are using one pump day and night so it can be very costly. Overall good serum but take on board my points.
