Have literally just bought this, opened tube to try it out and was knocked back by how perfumed it is. Fragrance has absolutely no place in any skincare products to my mind. I appreciate smell is very subjective but this is not a smell I want to be on my face all day. So unfortunately it'll be going back to the shop for a refund tomorrow.

For me, this wavers between 3 and 4 stars mainly because I can't really see a use for it, but it was ok. I'll explain.... It feels very like a standard moisturiser, so that was a positive - ie light and easy to apply, however I wouldn't replace my standard moisturiser with this as I would rather use a moisturiser with a function ie hydrating and firming but including an SPF of which there ae several about. In terms of using it as a sun cream, it does work, but in the hot weather you need to keep applying it every time you face sweats (or it'll burn in my experience) and in terms of a facial sun cream in hot weather I'd rather have ond that stays on most of the day ie one from Soltan or another Brand you cant currently buy on boots, starting with Ultra. So you see the dilemma- it was ok but I wouldn't buy again.

dont buy if your skin oily or combination.. for my conbination skin i got the worst breakout ..spots.my face was never like this before . even my husband notice that .

I have freckles that fade in winter but used to be very prominent in summer but, since I have used this product, they are only slightly more noticeable in summer. It also seems very good for my skin.

I have very dry,sensitive skin and also suffer with rosacea. I use factor 50 on my face and have tried loads of different and very expensive creams and this is by far the best. It's not mattifying like a lot of high factor face creams, soaks in really well and my foundation is easy to apply without leaving my skin flaky.

Using this for two years, can't go outside without it because have sun sensitive lupus. Amazing on skin, not thick like other skin creams this high factor, and reduced by a lot my brown spots of face.

I really liked this product on holiday last week. Its texture is lovely, it rubs in really well, has a pleasant smell and doesn't leave the face sticky or like a white mask. My only gripe is that nowhere on the packaging does it claim to be water resistant. On a holiday in the sun, with constant swimming, this is a big drawback and it made me anxious about whether or not I was protected in the pool. For peace of mind I put on the water resistant Factor 50 sunscreen I was using for my body every time I went in to swim. If it's not water resistant this is a big oversight on Boots part. Apart from this I really liked it as a product.

Have bought this every year for a number of years. Not oily, lasts for months, great protection if you are freckly and try to avoid the sun. Use on face and décolletage from April to Oct. good offers on second one half price.

I live and work in West Africa and was keen to protect my skin carefully. I am delighted with this product. It is quick and easy to apply and really does protect my skin. In temperatures over 40 degrees my face does perspire a lot, but there is no discernible skin damage. Wouldn't leave home without it!

I bought this as my free of the 3 for the price of 2 just to try it out. However, it doesn't suit my normal (ageing) skin at all. I like that it's spf50, the perfume is ok,and it does give a very subtle colour cover which I like, but the texture is incredibly sticky and it doesn't dry down at all , so my face is both sticky and shiny in this 30 degree heat
