I bought 3 of these Amazing eyes pencils and returned them a month later as they were useless - like previous reviewers, I found they dragged the skin around my eye and it was really hard to get any colour from them. When I returned them to the store, the No 7 girls explained that the tip is coated with wax to protect it, so before first use you have to use a pencil sharpener to take the layer of wax off - and then, hey presto, it worked beautifully, so I no longer needed to return them. No-one tells you this when you buy the pencils!!

I bought this recently with the £3 off coupon and it was a complete waste of money. It didn't bring up any colour whatsoever when used and instead actually hurt my eyelid when trying to apply it. My advice is don't buy this as any one I know who has tried it agrees that it's not a good product

It is not up to the usual standard of No7. Very hard and painful to apply don't us it at all now . But I Love your lip liner especially the Carmel. The Eye pencil is not amazing.

I bought product years ago and it was good, hence why I bought it again recently. This product is now horrible! I can't use it! The liner is like a rubber! It leaves no mark on the inside of my eye and only marks my fingers when I rub the tip between my fingers to warm it up. Very poor and unusable. I wish I could get a refund but it's touched my eye...

Bought two as replacements but could not get either of them to work whereas the originals were great and worked perfectly and very easily. They are useless and very harsh on the skin. Why change something that had worked perfectly. I now have only an inch left of one of the originals and cannot find anything else as good.

The colour is weak and several coats have to be applied. It is hard and you end up dragging skin to get any colour on lids - not good. It doesn't sharpen easily. The centre core cracks and breaks away in hard flakes. A very very poor substitute for the pencil previous marketed, without the Stay Perfect logo on the side.

I bought this thinking it would be excellent as i am a huge fan of no 7 i was so wrong the colour doesnt come out unless u put extreme pressure on it and that is not good for the eye area at all,basically its horrible

I am usually a massive fan of No. 7 products but this just doesn't live up to the rest. It is extremely difficult to get any colour out of it and requires a lot of pressure. This is quite poor considering the price when there are a lot of brands which are half the price and much more creamy and have much better lasting power.

Personally i love this product, when applying my eyeliner i only use a little on the bottom of my eye, so when i used this product i found that it gave me the smudged affect i wanted and not a big thick line which most give off, i found it easy to smudge to where i wanted it and i use it everyday! i tend not to sharpen mine as the edges of the wood can be a bit jaggity but other than that for what i want its great, i wouldnt say its any good at applying thin black solid lines though

I got this first as a Christmas present, in a carry case, I was dreading when I had to sharpen it due to the reviews, It was fine so ordered four more in the sales two in black the other two in brown. It’s best I bought.
