My problem with this eye shadow trio is the poor pigmentation. It hardly showed up on my skin.Report this review
Not what I expected.
I was let down as I love the individual natural colours but buying 'Beside the sea' the colours had no impact, and overall I use the pallet very rarely so it was a waste of money. However other colours may be different.Report this review
NIce Colours, Bit Pricey
Bought 3 of these on 3 for 2 promotion. Needed some new eyeshadow and have sensitive eyes. Used to use Clinique until was advised that no 7 is also very gentle on sensitive eyes. Whilst No 7 is a lot cheaper than Clinique I still consider full cost is on the pricey side whilst poss not as high quality as Clinique. Bought Good Earth, Cappuccino and Romantic. Good Earth and Cappuccino colours, although very nice, are far too similar (not good purchase to buy both) brown/neutral shades. Romantic is lovely purple shades. As others have commented, the applicator is not very useful - I use my fingers to apply!Report this review
Where is the colour?
I bought Twilight no. 60 (contains white, pale grey and dark grey) and have found I need to put on about 10 coats of the eyeshadow before I can see any colour. Even with that many layers it is still quite see through and also very powdery looking. The separate colours have all merged into each other so there is lack of definition.Report this review
Does stay perfect
I have this compact in good earth which is great for daytime wear. I do use a primer all over my eyelid before applying and then the shadow glides on easily. It doesn't crease even after 8 hours or more and stays silky looking. The applicator is no good (they never are in compacts) so buy yourself a decent eyeshadow brush. I am going to be buying another of these in a smoky colour for evening wear.Report this review
its ok but wears off quite quickly and all the colour blend into one over a short time of wearing and the brush isn't good as its bent which makes it hard to manoeuvre and hard to apply colour correctlyReport this review
I like this eyeshadow, wouldnt say i love it though! The colours are very nice (used eden, and beside the sea) really silky powder eyeshadow, with a slight shimmer, and they also blend very well, i would also say the colours last an average while. However, the reason why i don't love this product is because, you only get a small amount of eyeshadow, because of its packaging, which is hard to get to when it starts to run out because of narrow the sections are, also think colours could be have a more pigmented colour.Report this review
A brilliant set for everyday use!
I have been using the Stay Perfect Trio Eye-shadow in Cappuccino for nearly four years now and I have to say that its my favourite eye-shadow set I have used to date. Not only do the colours compliment each other really well, they also last all day. The colour also goes a long way so you find that the pallet goes a long way which is great for everyday use! I would however recommend using a base to bring out the colour.Report this review
Wand is very difficult to use!
Eye shadow ok but the curve on the wand makes it very difficult to control. I have been using it for a few months but can't get the hang of it. No7 have obviously gone for design over practicality so if you buy this I suggest you invest in your own brush but that makes it more expensive!Report this review
I have 3 of these eye shadows and at first I didn't like them, I found that they wouldn't stay on all day but I started using a eye primer and it made a huge difference. They stay on all day and it actually made me want to buy more of these eye shadows. ---So if you are going to buy these I would recommend you use a eye primer before applying these to your lids.Report this review
